Why I Wrote The Oxygen Countdown...
It’s not an e-story which I used to like on this platform. It’s not one of those random ideas that just came and went. The Oxygen Countdown is something that grew inside me for years... something that found its roots in silence, fear, and hope.

It was Covid which drove me towards the era of writing. Those long silent nights, when the world outside was filled with fear and uncertainty, became the moments when I started talking to myself through words. I saw people struggling for breath, families waiting outside hospitals, and an entire world gasping for hope. That feeling of helplessness somewhere stayed in me for years.
Writing became my way of breathing again. It was the only space where I could rebuild a world that wasn’t falling apart. I wanted to give a voice to that silent fear, that invisible pain that the world once lived through. And that is how The Oxygen Countdown was born.

It is not just a science fiction story for me. It is a reflection of humanity’s mistakes, our greed, our love, and our endless desire to control what was never meant to be controlled. I wanted readers to feel what it means when nature decides to take back what we took for granted, Oxygen, the very essence of life.

Each character in the book carries a part of me. Dr. Dan Voss represents guilt, redemption, and the hope that no matter how dark things become, there is always a light waiting to be found. Writing those chapters wasn’t easy; I often paused to feel the weight of every word, every moment, every truth hidden behind the fiction.

I wrote The Oxygen Countdown because I wanted people to remember what it means to be human, to value every breath, to care, to love, to hope. The story may end, but its purpose never does...
And maybe, that’s what writing means to me. It is not about creating a book. It is about creating a heartbeat that keeps reminding us to live better, breathe deeper, and never forget what we once survived together!
I may not be the biggest writer out there, but what I see is change. And change? The change is conspicuous, my dear!
